    Action only on recovery

I have a trigger for monitoring a process. The trigger appears to work correctly and shows that the action was performed. The action is specified as a custom script to send email through authenticated SMTP. I used the example here http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost...93&postcount=3. However, no emails are sent when the process stops. When the process recovers, a recovery email is sent, therefore I know the script is working. Is there something different about the arguments for the failure state compared to the recovery state?

    Resolved

I wrote a more advanced email script in Python and resolved the issue. I will chalk it up to quoting or something in passing the arguments to the shell script I was using previously.
