zabbix 2.0.1 - Ubuntu 12.04 No Zabbix server is running

I just installed my first Zabbix server on Ubuntu 12.04.

All goes well until i start the frontend. I got a red blinking message telling me zabbix server is not running ????

I check all conf files, see nothing wrong .....Can please someone tell me where to look at ?

One other point : i have no log although i configured them in zabbix-server.conf ....

Solved !

i used the script form zabbix-2.0.1 in the misc/init.d/debian directory instead of misc/init.d/ubuntu in my ubuntu 12.04 server and the server starts.

Is there a mistake in the directory ?????

I just replace the script from Ludovic Valentin with the script in misc/init.d/debian and place it in /etc/init.d

Then i run sudo /etc.init.d/zabbix-server start and it started.

Setting DBPassword in usr/local/etc/zabbix_server.conf fixed the problem for me.
