Forced to login after upgrade to 2.0

    Hello,

My Zabbix instance was just uprgaded to 2.0 (from 1.8) and now the guest login no longer seems to work. Before the upgrade, anonymous users would just automatically see the dashboard and be able to browse triggers etc. Now, you're always presented with the login screen and forced to log in.

Is this a change with Zabbix or a bug/problem somewhere?

I have the same issue with LDAP authentication
With Internal authentication, the guest account seems working

If anyone as an idea on this subject for LDAP authentication and guest user, I think we will be very gratefull

ok this is something quite new for me.

for those who has the same issue, here is the solution :
      - go to the group administration page
      - change the frontend access to "Internal"

your guest account now works as usual

You might need to set your permissions on the guest account to allow read only access to the hosts & groups.

Set the group auth to 'Internal', no change. (Authentication is set to 'internal' anyway.)

The 'Guests' group has read-only access to ALL host groups.
The 'guest' user has read-only permissions to all host groups, as calculated and shown on the permissions page.

Yet, when I access Zabbix, I am shown the login page and nothing I do gets around it.

If I try to manually hit the /zabbix/tr_status.php page, the user status gets changed to 'Blocked' in the backend and I have to click that to unblock the account again.

hum ... I am not sure understanding what you are doing.

You have to edit the "Guests" group, on the "User Group" tab you will have to change the "frontend access" to "Internal"
Then be sure the "guest" account is part of the "Guests" group.

Open another browser, then access to any page on the zabbix frontend and you should be logged as guest. If it is not the case, you should see the login page with a link so you can log in as guest

That is what I'm doing and it does not work.

Group setup (Guest is member, set to 'Internal'):

Group permissions (has read-only access to everything):

Trying to access the trigger status page (tr_status.php):

No automatic login like it used to do. No way to publicly view pages.
