Folks, I know others have faced this issue and the cause varies. This is the dreaded trigger for "There are items missing data for more than 10 minutes." I've been affected by this issue on one system for random items on that system. It doesn't happen with any other system.
What I'm wondering is if there are ways people would suggest to troubleshoot this? When I run a zabbix_get or a telnet to the port and ask for that item I always get a valid response. However the server will sit and report that it can't get the data for a short period of time before clearing the alert itself.
Is there a log I can enable to try and diagnose this or a log level I can increase on the server or client?
All suggestions short of "read this tuning post" or "post all your configs" would be appreciated. Other than this the server runs good, no performance issues and all other systems never have this problem.
