Hi,
I've been having for a while a strange problem :
icmppingsec item and triggers are setup on a template applied to all my hosts, and they work well (I use icmppingsec with its default values, and a x1000 multiplier in item in order to display response time in ms).
I've noticed that the response time values stored in the database are correct, but min. and avg. values are false.
Moreover, for this reason graph scales are messed up.
One more strange behaviour with these graphs is that they often begin from value "0", whatever be the time scale I check ... which is obviously false as well ...
I've also tried to change the item settings from Numeric (float) to Numeric (unsigned) but the result was still the same.
Does anyone else have ever met this issue, or has any idea about where it could come from ?
Please have a look at the 2 graphs hereunder, that are icmppingsec graphs for the same host, with different time scales (1h and 6h), and at the response time scale ...
Cheers,
r/
