    Macro expansion in snmptrap[regex]

    Hello everyone.
I've been struggling with this issue for some time and haven't find a solution. What I am trying to do is to have one "general" item I could copy to all my hosts to collect SNMP traps from their IP.
However, I tried to use various notations without success. I guess the regex is "eating" the macro...

snmptrap[192.168.3.116] works, but snmptrap[{MACRO}] does not. I tried to escape the { and } with no change.

Anyone knows what item key do I have to use to make it work?

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi,

    Why a general item ?
Just declare your snmptrap thing in a Template to which you link all of your hosts ...
    Cheers,
