    Zabbix on Centos

    Hi there,

I've been around linux for about 3 months only, so I really have little knowledge on how these commands work, but anyway here's my problem.

I have followed this setup as stated in the online manual.http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/ins.../centosinstall
It was flawless and every step it was great. No errors.

Thing is after the installation and trying to access the http://localhost/zabbix, this is what i got, please see attached file.

Hope anyone can help me with this.

    Thank you.

      Hi mbsit,

      Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I've already restarted apache and tested it by putting in localhost on the internet browser, it says that apache http server installed and is working properly.

But still the same can be seen when I put in localhost/zabbix as seen on the attached file that I have.

In my opinion, you miss some steps in your installation. Ex. php installation or something.
Its seems like your apache doesn't recognized php files.

        Maybe this line:
        $ yum install php-mysql php-gd php-bcmath php-mbstring php-xml
        Pozdrawiam

          Hi mbsit,

Yes I've tried running on the command but it says that it is already installed and is the latest version.

          Still the same problem persists.

            Hi,
Check your apache config. What is like happening here is something like:

            - php modules are not being loaded by the apache server
            - php indexes are not recognized by apache (.php file extensions)

            Check it out.

            Regards,
            David

              Hi David,

Thank you for replying with my query. Thing is I don't know how would I check on those files. I'm a linux newbie actually but currently will look on ways how could I perform those you've suggested.

              Again, thank you.

              Regards,

              Jemel

                Thanks for the reply guys,

Found the solution to my existing problem.

                Googled and found this website:

                Ran this command:
                sudo yum install php-common php-gd php-mcrypt php-pear php-pecl-memcache php-mhash php-mysql php-xml

                and it worked.

Must be something is missing on my php installation.
