IPADDRESS and HOST.IP dont work in active checks

Im using IPADDRESS with int number for keys and it works great in passive checks.

But it doesnt work good in active checks it doesnt resolve IPADDRESS to real IP address. If i enter addresses manually then it works great. But i really need this to work.

    Any solutions.

As you see it shows UNKNOWN on active checks but it works great on passive checs and resolves it great.

      Hi!

Do you know if this macros (HOST.CONN, IPADDRESS, HOST.IP) works with simple check?

I'm trying to use one of them with icmping, but it's not working =/ And to help, there is not enough documentation about it.

      (example)

      Keys:
      icmpping[{HOST.IP1}]
      icmpping[{HOST.IP2}]
      icmpping[{HOST.IP3}]

I have to ping 3 network cards in the same host and i have to ping 3 interfaces of a firewall (2 diferent hosts, the screenshot is only an example).
Other option is create 1 host per IP, but i don't want to do that.

If i use the IPs insted of macros, it works fine (apparently). Any suggestion? =x

          Did you define ServerActive?

It sounds like you may have the same problem I described in http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34275 .

If so, check out bradh's reply in thread 4 for the solution.
