    Hourly performance issue

I'm getting a hourly increase in queue and CPU load on the zabbix server. It starts right on the hour and ramps up for about 20 minutes, then tails off quickly. At first, I wondered if it it was the snmp polling getting into lock step, but I'm wondering if it's something related to building the trends from history.

    Any ideas?

Zabbix 1.8.15, monitoring 4450 hosts, 270K items, mostly snmp poll at 5 minute or longer interval. VM server/web frontend, VM mysql database. Housekeeping is turned off. 875 NVPS/

Yes, it is REALLY bad if it's on. I checked the internal item too, with housekeeping off, that item goes "not supported".
