    zabbix issues behind nat

hi all i was using zabbix to monitor about 300 servers and 600 pieces of various hardware, but now iu put it behind a load balancer and it no longer works

the load balancer is on 192.168.1.3
zabbix resides on 192.168.1.18 internal ip
    zabbix external ip is 192.168.254.18

so to the world zabbix is 192.168.254.18, but when a packet comes in it gets rewritten to 192.168.1.18 but the error i get is that 192.168.1.3 is not a valid server, i added that ip to the agentd.conf file but i am still not getting any updates, even on the localhost which is 192.168.1.18, zabbix is not updating,

does anybody have any experience with this type of set up

Do I understand the situation right saying that the agents reject connection from ZABBIX server because of different IP?

If so, you may check log files of the agents. Both IPs (allowed and just rejected) have to be there.
