zabbix database is down , every day at the same hours

hi ,

i have a problem , every day at the same hours , in my mail i receive :

Zabbix database is down.

and zabbix lost connection with a lot of server for one or two minutes.

if a try to connect to zabbix url i can't for the same time.

Have you an idea ?

if you cant connect to the Zabbix url - that could indicate server wide issue - as zabbix url is only served via Apache web server.

I agree, this sounds like a server issue. Just out of curiosity, is the Zabbix DB on the same server as the zabbix_server daemon? If it is, what hostname do you use to connect to it (the server IP/FQDN or localhost)? I only ask because if it is on the same server, then it wouldn't sound like a network issue of some kind (although not being able to get to the web GUI makes it sounds like there is one as forlinuxsupport mentioned).
