Totally Lost

I am totally lost with the loading zabbix and getting it working. The directions look easy enough at first glance but once i start the commands nothing? Does anyone have any direction they could assist me with?

I am using Ubuntu as my OS.

I Need help big time. Step by step.

This is more detailed than the documentation provided on Zabbix. Make sure to follow step by step instruction of how to setup your Mysql, Apache(httpd), and PHP according to their prespective documentation. http://www.lamphowto.com/ is also a good source.

Other than that, try to figure it out as you install it and ask specific questions. Hope this is helpful.
