Nothing is impossible with Zabbix

I got this message in the zabbix_server.log

zabbix_server [1442]: ERROR [file:db.c,line:1412] Something impossible has just happened.

That's just awesome. I'm extremely curious to know if you have any idea what check you have running that caused that to happen.

I was doing database maintenance, which locked a table for an extended period of time.

This caused Zabbix to suffer from a lockout timeout.

I've had that message, when we were having SAN issues with very high disk latency on the database. Printing it out added some levity to the situation.
