Cannot monitor network traffic

Hi everybody,

I have some troubles to get any data from the network traffic. Zabbix show the items as "Not supported". That's why, I tried to run the command line with the user "root" in order to get results. It seems to work whereas when I try with the same command line with the zabbix user, it does not work (ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED). And my zabbix agents were run with the user "zabbix"...

I wonder if this trouble come from a user problem ?

I have used the Debian testing packages to install zabbix.

I even try to run the command by root but nothing has changed because the command appeared with zabbix user...

I finally find out the answer.

In the agent file "zabbix_agentd.conf" :
- Uncomment "AllowRoot"
- Set the value to 1

It will start your agent with root and solve the problem

More details on my case :
zabbix server on a debian stable (Could be a bug in the package : https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-507).
