    Need HELP: individual triggers change

    Hallo!
    I have some Solaris servers with different configuration. So for some mashines is critical state if the /export/home is at 80% full, the other 95% and so on. So I need a possibility to change the triggers for each mashine separat. But if I go to the Configuration -> Hosts -> Triggers -> Name or Expression, I got the gray field in RO modus. The only posibility to change the trigger is the way over Parent triggers, but so I change the global settings. Can you show me how can I change the settings individual for each mashine?

    Thank you!

      Hi!

      There are two forms:

      1 - Use the option "Clone" on the trigger you want, change what you want, save it with other name and disable the old trigger.

      2 - Use macros! (You should you this option, it's better) - Go to the "template OS Solaris" and change the line:

      .last(0)}>20 to .last(0)}>{$CRITICAL}

      And save. Now, open the same template and there'll be 3 options: "template, linked templates, macros". Go to macros and create it:

      {$CRITICAL} - 20 (in this field you should use the default value you want, the exceptions are next).

      obs.: you can use any name you want.

      Now, if you have, let's say 10 servers, all of them will use the value 20 in that trigger. If you want to change the value in any of them, go to the host, option macro and create a macro:

      {$CRITICAL} - 80

      Save and that's it =p

      I hope this help. Sorry my bad english.

      Bye!
