Failed to connect to database: Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Hi!

For the 2nd time, Zabbix server (beta9) simply stops working.
Here is the last part of the server.log:

012374:20060530:224619 Failed to connect to database: Error: Lost connection to
MySQL server during query
012368:20060530:224619 One server process died. Shutting down...
012368:20060530:224619 ZABBIX server is down.

I was able to restart zabbix server again without problems.
The MySQL database (MyISAM) is @ localhost and works fine (no entry in mysqld.log).
As a workaround, i think i'll create a cronjop to restart zabbix.

Please, can anybody tell me why the server stops and what i can do against it?

I have located the same problem a few times ago.

I made one crontjob which will restarted the zabbix_server process

Nevertheless, i'm still searching a clean way to PREVENT the stopping of the server...
