Environment:
- zabbix server and client: 2.0.4
- client OS: Windows 2003 SP2 32-bit
- server OS: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
For some reason, on three of our windows servers, zabbix alternatively reports a total disk space that is correct, and at the next interval reports one that is completely incorrect. This, of course, throws off the free disk space calculations, and thus triggers false alerts.
The servers are standard bare metal servers. The disks are standard local disks. (No thin-provisioning.)
I monitored the free disk space with windows perfmon, and it does not display similar problems.
Anyone any idea what may be going on? Or how vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},total] is calculated on windows?
Kind regards,
Herta
