Posting here to help any others out there that must still support Windows 2000. Zabbix Agent has been unable to run system.run checks on Windows 2000 since 1.8.6. Zabbix agent log file shows "unable to set job info: [0x00000057] The parameter is incorrect".
Resolved in branch svn://svn.zabbix.com/branches/dev/ZBX-6140
in on target for 2.0.5rc1 as of now. Zabbix staff is amazingly responsive. Less than 24 hours and a fix is in SVN. Impressive, especially considering this only affected a 13 year old operating system.
