Can't login to zabbix appliance using zabbix user

Hi all,

Zabbix applinace 2.0.5

Can't login to zabbix appliance using zabbix user, i can login with root.

/var/log/messages

Feb 19 15:20:36 linux-smjh systemd-logind[5709]: New session 107 of user zabbix.
Feb 19 15:20:36 linux-smjh systemd-logind[5709]: Removed session 107.


does someone have an idea ?

Hi Ron

You need login with zabbix user to web front end or shell?
Iam using zabbix appliance 205 too
You can't login shell with zabix use
cat /etc/passwd
zabbix:*:100:101:Zabbix Daemon:/var/lib/zabbix:/bin/false

cek default login appliance here

The ID and Password to log on to web interface

The ID and Password to log on to web interface is
Admin:zabbix

The manual says "admin" instead of "Admin". I wasted more than 30min figuring this out.

wow thank you nsrivastava2 i wasted a lot of time on that as well, tried resetting with mysql queries etc
