Sorry I am a NOOB, a lot of the manual is over my head, I am not a professional IT Guy.
I have Zabbix Agent v2.0.4 Win64 installed and started on my win7 machine. (I know it is NOT Configured right as I don't understand all the terminology)
I would like to monitor internet traffic on about 10 devices. (not the machine I am monitoring from)
I have not been able to figure out how to even get to a log in page for zabbix.
so far my conf file looks like this...
LogFile=C:\Program Files\Zabbix Agent\Zabbix_agentd.log
DebugLevel=4
Server=192.168.1.120
ListenPort=10050
ListenIP=127.0.0.1
ServerActive=127.0.0.1
HostnameItem=system.hostname
I am monitoring from win7 machine at IP 192.168.1.120 (is that in the right place/where do I put it?
the following is a list of IP addresses I want to monitor. (where do I put them?) (I am hoping this is the correct format, comma separated no spaces.
192.168.1.140,192.168.1.141,192.168.1.160,192.168. 1.161,192.168.1.162,192.168.1.170,192.168.1.171,19 2.168.1.180,192.168.1.181,192.168.1.190
and where does the 127.0.0.1 go? and is this the number I type into a web browser to log into zabbix? or does it need a /zabbix after it, or a /10050, or either or?
do I need to install something on each device? or only the one monitoring?
