I have a new trigger set up that I am trying to use to alert when it finds a string in a log file. The "item" is set up and enabled. The trigger is set up, but it refuses to update. Just continues to have a red X and "No status update so far."
The update interval is set to 30 seconds.
Where can I look to see if Zabbix thinks there is a problem with either the Item or the Trigger or something else? I would think if something was wrong with my syntax it would say so eventually, rather than just show no status update so far.
Version I'm running is 2.03 both on the server and the agent.
Item Key: log[/var/log/mag/mag.log.2013-02-20,"Error in execute"]
I have Type set to Zabbix Agent (Active), and type of Information set to Log.
Trigger: {my-server:log[/var/log/mag/mag.log.2013-02-20,"Error in execute"].regexp(EmailExtractorStep)}=1
