    Hi,
    I have been collecting data for over two years now. Size of my zabbix database never exceeded 15GB

    Code:
    mysql> SHOW STATUS LIKE 'qcache%';
    +-------------------------+-------+
    | Variable_name           | Value |
    +-------------------------+-------+
    | Qcache_free_blocks      | 0     |
    | Qcache_free_memory      | 0     |
    | Qcache_hits             | 0     |
    | Qcache_inserts          | 0     |
    | Qcache_lowmem_prunes    | 0     |
    | Qcache_not_cached       | 0     |
    | Qcache_queries_in_cache | 0     |
    | Qcache_total_blocks     | 0     |
    +-------------------------+-------+

    I’m not fast growing user. Therefore, I’m not planning to add enormous amount of hosts, items etc. to zabbix nearest future. What do you think, do I still need performance tuning?

    Thank you for response in advance!

      In the past (before moving to PostgreSQL) I used to use at least the mentioned Performance Tuning Primer Script after a reasonable run time for any MySQL database.

      Finally it's your decision.
