    Zabbix database is down

I get this message once every day.

It is almost certainly caused by the fact that the PostgreSQL database is down for backup for about 30 minutes every morning at 0130.

However, I have a maintenance period defined for that time slot - which turns off data logging and successfully prevents any other messages.

Presumably, the message comes from a trigger but I cannot find any such trigger definition.

How can I stop this message?

Maintenance will not affect that alert at all. You are bringing the zabbix database down. In Administration->general you can configure if Zabbix will send an alert when the database goes down. Its a special case.

Are you referring to the last line of the Admin/General page?

I have cleared this option but still get the alert.

      Cheers,
      Stephen

OK. I found the correct option in the Admin/General/Other menu.
Setting it to Disabled did the trick but I still think this should be subject to Maintenance Mode.

        Cheers,
        Stephen

If that's something that you would like implemented, I suggest putting in a feature request here: https://support.zabbix.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
