Log File monitoring on windiows box

I try to monitor a log file in windows server, even though error is being generated in the log file, but still my trigger showing status as OK.

    My trigger is:

    {Trans_windows:log["D:\LOGS\[email protected]","Error","UTF-8",1].logsource(Error)}#1

I looking for reply ASAP. Please some one help on this.

    Thanks,

      Thanks,
First of all you agent is active mode?
Second, why your do you use option maxline is 1?
Please, look carefully in documentation about it.

Yes.. My agent is in active mode.
I changed the maxline count 2 , and found its working.
I am getting alerts on first occurence of the error and my trigger was changed into PROBLEM state, whereas i am not getting alerts on the second occurrence of the error. Could please help me out here.

My doubt is "why the event isnt triggered for the second occurence of the error? "
