Windows items not reporting

Our monitoring of windows systems is somewhat in a state of neglect, mostly political. However, a few windows systems with linux partners are monitored. I've found that many items from the basic template have stopped reporting. Some examples, vfs.fs.size percents fail, but sizes work. Zabbix agent version fails.

I'm beginning to suspect Win 2008 or something, but haven't found the pattern yet. I can't look at client logs, I'll heed windows helpers....

Has anyone else seen this?

Close enough. It looks like it was a combination of things....

Some had 10050 blocked inbound, so agent items wouldn't work. Some had a odd naming convention that caused them to auto register as linux. The template had been removed and the proper template added, but the agent had never restarted (and blocked ports). Some are multi homed and the agent is binding to a "non preferred" IP.

Just can't always trust Windows admins to leave the firewalls alone :-)
