snmp instead of agent, however Z is green !

Hello gladiators !
I'm monitoring a Smoothwall firewall through snmp with zabbix 1.8
however the z icon is green, is this possible ?!
The snmp icon is red because the config of communitystring isn't quite yet done. so, I'm aware of this.

did anybody experience that ?

The icon is updated when an item of a corresponding interface is polled.
When no item is polled anymore then the icon keeps the last state - regardless if there is no more a related passive item or if there is no corresponding host interface at all
