Disable trigger prototypes

Hello,

I have been using the Template SNMP interfaces to monitor our routers and switches but I'm getting strange behavior when I disable the trigger prototypes for Operational status. Even after disabling the trigger prototype on template the trigger remains enable on all hosts. Is a hard task to have to disable one by one because I'm I'm talking about near 1000 triggers.
This trigger prototype behavior happens to anyone else?

Try API and trigger.update method.
