Server {HOSTNAME} is unreachable - Not working.

Hi all,

Ive tried checking through the forums but cant find an answer and sorry if ive missed it.

None the less hope someone can help.

Since upgrading and doing a fresh install of Zabbix 2.0.5 for some reason this trigger no longer works. I get the following error to the right side.

Item not supported for function: {<myservername>:zabbix[host,agent,unavailable].last(0)}

That trigger is deprecated.

The new trigger is part of "Template App Zabbix Agent"

And is this:

Zabbix agent on {HOST.NAME} is unreachable for 5 minutes

{Template App Zabbix Agent:agent.ping.nodata(5m)}=1

If you need that template, it is attached.

In a fresh install it is linked to all the OS templates: Template OS AIX, Template OS FreeBSD, Template OS HP-UX, Template OS Linux, Template OS Mac OS X, Template OS OpenBSD, Template OS Solaris, Template OS Windows

Ok great thanks didn't know that. I tried to apply it but there was another template that was conflicting with it.

Ive had to remove a few lines for zabbix.ping and zabbix.version which seems to allow the applying of the template now.

Ill monitor it and see how she goes.

Hi,

I know this is an old post but I'm having the same problem after inheriting a zabbix system on a new company.

I tried to install the attached template but ran into the same issue that's described below:

"Ive had to remove a few lines for zabbix.ping and zabbix.version which seems to allow the applying of the template now."

How was this resolved?
