Configuring custom template for Firewalls on Zabbix front end(snmp based)
Hi All,
I am able to monitor firewall (snmp enabled) using existing template
, which has lot of items. However, i don't want all of the items to be displayed/monitored. Any way to create custom template with limited items?
Is there any way to monitor
a). Whole Firewall
b). Grouping the firewalls ( may be something to do with Host Groups, but how to add f/w under host ? )
c). In a firewall - one of the port is for say one service provider, and next port is another service provider. Will i be able to create template to monitor service provider based monitoring - considering the fact that in different locations different firewalls with different ports are supported by same service provider. For eg: In Mumbai, for 1 firewall , port no.1 is backed by say airtel and port 2 is by vodafone, and in Pune i have same airtel and vodafone. Now in Zabbix, is it possible to configure both location based f/w's and get details on airtel/vodafone uptime ( shows both mumbai as well as pune).
d). In nagios i can get reports on uptime/downtime ( like 90% etc) , is there a way in zabbix to get the same, ( i can see graphs and latest data)
Any pointers are greatly helpful.
