Bad graphs from an interface

I'm facing the issue of bad graphs. please see the attachment.
notice that only the outgoing traffic gets distorted and appears discontinuous.
still onething I'd like to maintion here, this is a zabbix proxy implement.

How is the 1 hour graph, does it show the same behavior ? What is the polling frequency and how long do you keep data into history and trends ? Also it would help us if you could tell what version of Zabbix are you using.

yes, the same distortion.

the settings of items at zabbix server for all interfaces are same. However some of graphs are bad.

I think there is nothing to do with the device self. because if I put the device direct on zabbix server, there is no problem. But behind the zabbix-proxy will indicate the maintioned issue.

So above you see for a specific interface, the incoming traffic is drawn good, while the outgoing traffic isn't.

there are also switches at the LAN monitored by zabbix. some interfaces appear good in the graph, the other appear mess!
