Unable to use any IPMI item

    Hi there,

i'm trying to connect to a Server via IPMI and it fails with:

"cannot connect to IPMI host: [33554449] Unknown error 33554449"

Using the ipmitool on the commandline with the same settings as in zabbix, it works fine.

    Zabbix is: 2.0.8
    libopenipmi is: 2.0.18 (i tried .19 too)

Using "debug=4" doesn't give me any further information...

I'm trying to connect to a Sun x4100

    Any help is appreciated

    Regards,

    welkin

Please, read https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-6077 and try to test throw ipmi_ui tool.

I'm afraid it's not that bug.

I've tried the ipmi_ui tool and it gives me:

IPMI connection to con.port 0.0 is down due to error 0x2000011

No matter what user level i try.

      Regards,

      welkin

Just tried lib version .19 ... and it gives me the same error.

What version of OpenIPMI you are using (https://www.zabbix.com/forum/archive...t-10797.html)?

If more information is needed, i'd be happy to provide it.

I also tried libOpenIPMI 2.0.20-rc3. still the same error.

Maybe someone could post the exact parameters of an working IPMI setup.

            Thanks in advance,
