cannot edit trigger (Zabbix 2.0.8)

I have a server that restarts in the middle of the night and would like to extend the time that it takes for ping.nodata[] but in the trigger configuration cannot be edited and has a grey background. Ideally, the individual host needs to be changed and not the template but neither can be edited.

You should either copy (and change) the template's trigger to that host and then disable the template's trigger (if it's still associated with that host)
OR
you should make use of user macro's in the template and then assign different values for that user macro on each host. This option is the better one. You can also assign a "default" value for that user macro by adding it to the template.

There are probably other ways of doing it, but these are the ways that I've been doing it (without official Zabbix training)...
