Zabbix 2.1.8 vSphere VMware monitoring problem

my conf:
Zabbix Server 2.1.8 (compiled ./configure --with-libxml2 --enable-server --enable-agent --with-mysql --with-libcurl)
VMware VCenter Server 5.1

I have a question about configuring vcenter host in zabbix. I didn't install zabbix_agent on vcenter machine. I created a new host for vcenter in zabbix with Agent Interface of vcenter machine ip and default port 10050. Template Virt VMware vCenter is linked to this host and host macros URL, USERNAME, PASSWORD are set. Now I get the messages in zabbix_server.log:

Item [Vsphere_VCenter:vmware.vcenter.cluster.discovery[{$URL}]] error: ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED
Item [Vsphere_VCenter:vmware.vcenter.hv.discovery[{$URL}]] error: ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED
Item [Vsphere_VCenter:vmware.vcenter.vm.discovery[{$URL}]] error: ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED


How to configure vcenter host in zabbix - how to set up interfaces and ports? Do I need install zabbix agent on vcenter machine?

Hi buddy, looks like you got a tough one right there. Looks like an OS issue to me but I can't be sure. Any updates if you were able to fix this already?

Did you configure the number of vmware collector instances in config file?

StartVMwareCollectors=X

I downloaded templates for vmware monitoring again, subtituted the "old" templates and vmware monitoring is ok now.
