Zabbix 2.2.0 frontend always shows that server is down

    Hi

Upgraded Zabbix 2.0.9 to the latest 2.2.0 version and now constantly getting the red banner with the warning that server is not running - "Zabbix server is not running: the information displayed may not be current."

    Does anybody seen this?

Tried to manipulate the frontend server check timeouts but with no success.

    Regards,
    Areg

I just started from a clean CentOS 6.4 load and used zabbix.com instructions to install the MySQL version. Unfortunately, there must be key details missing, or some OS dependencies that are interfering... admittedly, I am only a week into my zabbix/mysql experience..

I used the 2.0.9 appliance demo and it was great.. going to try the 2.0.9 version I guess of the rpms next.. Need to understand if it is user error, documentation, or bug...

If anyone can help with explaining this error message that would be great.. the /var/log/zabbix/* info wasn't really that helpful for this current message..

Same problem here, but at least, I overrided the problem by changing the following parameter:

Administration --> General --> Uncheck "Show warning if Zabbix server is down"

      Working...
