how to use "screen" in Template

Steps:
1) create "Template Test", 2 items "Test Item A, Test Item B" and a screen "Test Screen" has been added in this template.
2) create "Test Host A", Linking template "Template Test".
3) right now, 2 items as mentioned above are available, but,,,where is my "Test Screen"?


any help would be appreciated!

Try searching for "Test Host A" in the search field in the upper right corner. Now click on screens. "Test screen" should appear there.

Question for the more experienced Zabbix users:
Is it possible to have this screen appear under "Monitoring" -> "Screens"?
Or other places that do not require searching?

I searched the forums for this problem. Some users have solved this problem by clicking on "Monitoring" -> "Overview". However this does not work for Zabbix 2.0.5 in the ubuntu repositories. I had to install zabbix 2.2.0 to make it work.

But in my opinion, template means I can reuse something on my hosts, right? Well, take "Template OS Linux" for example.
I create host "Test1", linking to "Template OS Linux", a few seconds later, I can find some items in my new host, but,,where is the screen, I just can't find it!

Is there something wrong with my understanding of the screen?

Okay so I assume your Template "Template OS Linux" has the screen "System Performance" assigned just as mine.

Solution A
Type the name "Test1" into the search bar in the upper right corner.

A table "hosts" should be returned which has a row with "Test1" as it's first entry. Click on "screens" in this row.



Solution B
If you have Zabbix 2.2 go to the tab "Monitoring", field "Overview".
From the drop down choose "Hosts location" -> "left"
Click on the name of your host, a context menu should open. Click on the last entry named "host screens".



PS: If you find any more convenient way to access the templated screens of a host let me know .
