    Advice Triggers - Templates

    Hello Forum Users,

I have a small issue regarding templates. Templates provice me a good start. But sometimes i don't want certain triggers for Hosts. The only way to remove them is as it seems to remove them from the template themselfs. I don't like editing the default templates.

Is there a way i can remove the triggers without removing them from the template?

Another option would be to create a new template but i don't want to do that because i have many hosts and do not want to add the template one by one to those hosts.

    Thanks in advance,

    NeaJules.

Why not just disabling the triggers on host or template level?
If they should be disabled for a lot of hosts you might create a new empty template, link the default template into the newly created to inherit all its elements and finally disable the undesired triggers within the new template.
Then you'll have an untouched default template and an synchronized copy of it with some triggers disabled.
