Zabbix agent/server failover

Hi,
I`m looking for solution of zabbix agent/server failover.
In case when zabbix server#1 will go down, zabbix agents should send messages to zabbix_server#2

I know in zabbix agent config you can define few servers, but i cannot see any logical void to setup, let say

If zabbix_server#1 is up, then send messages to zabbix_server#1, else send messages to zabbix_server#2.

could you advie how to realize this

Why not to stick with already tested solutions? HA setup with VIP address as resource for Zabbix server?
In this case all your agents/proxies still will be pointed to one IP, and HA will manage which node will get this IP.
