Zabbix Agent in OEL 7 running But not detected in Zabbix Server

Hi Guys,

I have VM using Oracle Linux 7 which is based RHEL 7, and i use Zabbix Agent 3.0, and also same version with my existing Zabbix Server. And i guess there is problem with communication between agent and server.

This below is the log of zabbix agent of OEL7 VM

And i have uploaded the capture of Zabbix Server which is show us the grey light in communication part. i've changed the configuration file, only Server parameter to my Zabbix Server's IP Address, ServerActive using #, and Hostname with my VM hostname.

So please kindly to help me solve this issue.

You don't have any items on that host bro.
You need to have at least 1 Zabbix Agent ( passive ) item to see ZBX availability red/green

I have installed zabbix-agent in my VM actually,

The server will not contact your agent until you have set up something to monitor. Something to monitor means having so called items on you host. Read more here:

Thanks for your advice, and thats correct way, i have tried to add one item or apply template, and that's works now.
