Trigger stuck in problem state

Hey guys,

So I have an interesting issue with some stuck triggers on Zabbix 3.4.2. I've got a discovery running for NetApp nods, which adds 6 items and 4 triggers, mostly reporting HA related information. About a week ago we did some maintenance which caused all four triggers to fire (and correctly so). After the maintenance all triggers from this discovery did not resolve themselves even though the trigger expression is no longer fulfilled. I don't understand why this trigger won't resolve as the item gets new data regularly (every 15 minutes) with the value 2 which means the trigger condition is no longer true.

Hello!

Just for the test please try expand expression to longer syntax:
{host:item.last()}>2 and {host:item.last()}<2

Which Zabbix servers version are you running?

Does server restart help ?

I tried to expand the triggers and link the two expressions with an or but unfortunately that didn't change anything and the issue still persists.
I'll see if I can schedule a restart of the zabbix-server process.

Very interesting, thanks for the link. I resolved the issue for now by changing the triggers to allow manual closing and then closing them, but it could very well be this issue. Let's hope version 4.0 will be released soon
