I am moving our environment to Zabbix 2.2.
I have setup a test environment for doing proof-of-concept testing.
I created a template to check the zabbix front-end as described in the manual. It works great. I love being able to have this in a template. It becomes much more portable and easier to manage.
I wanted to export this template for import into our production environment when it is upgraded to 2.2. The export was successful, but when I look at the xml, none of the web scenario steps were included.
Has this issue been noticed by others? Is this a limitation of Zabbix?
It is an important issue for me. I like to do all new template development in a controlled test environment to be exported and then imported into the production environment when completed. It helps keep our production environment clean and prevents false positives or incorrect alerts during the development process.
