3.4.8 silently fails trapper requests

I just upgraded to 3.4.8 and it seems my trapper items are no longer working.

As you can see the request failed, but there is no error in the Zabbix log. I have turned on DebugLevel=5 in the configuration, but there is still nothing in the log about this. Any idea why I am not getting any more information about the failure?

For some reason, I do see these kinds of pings in the log, but nothing about my request...
