Some time ago we added some new items to the network interface LLD (drop counters, etc).
We started with one of the slave nodes, everything went fine, as the picture shows as well. (Node configuration was done on the slave node)
However, when i checked the master node's admin interface, some weirdness showed up, shown below.
The LLD item doesn't belong to the LLD group any more. Not to mention, that probably due to this, not all the newly created LLD items are present on the master node's slave node config. (We haven't added the rules to the master node)
Also, additional errors shown at the bottom of the page:
(there was 3 out-of-group items on this page)
Interestingly, not all the hosts are affected, it is totally random. Some hosts can apply the LLD rules without any issues, others have problems with the same items... Zabbix server logs doesn't contain anything about this. (There are no errors at all.)
Unlinking and re-linking the template doesn't help. Deleting the bogus items on master doesn't help, as they will be re-created on the slave properly, and then re-synced to the master wrongfully again.
I have no clue atm, if this is a bug in the LLD/DM sync, or a master db inconsistency. Looking for any advice...
