One-Time vs Recurring Maintenance Periods acting differently...

First, my apologies if this is something posted on here already, but I have not seen anything talking about this specifically...

We are running Zabbix 3.4.8 (currently) and I have a user that is trying to set up a recurring maintenance period but is still getting alerts while the maintenance period is still active. In trouble shooting this I have found that when creating a one-time maintenance period with a specific host or a host group, the host(s) successfully go into maintenance. When I create a recurring maintenance window with the same specific host or host group however, none of the hosts go into maintenance.

My first question is, am I missing something with this newer version? I have double and triple checked and can't find anything that I am missing. The maintenance window and period are all valid, the hosts or host group is selected so I don't see where I am missing anything there.

My second question is, this seems like a pretty big bug on the surface... If in fact it is a bug, where can i report it to get it fixed asap?

There may be an error in the setting of the maintenance period.
For example, how many days or years later did you set the Active till of the Maintenance tab?

Please tell me in detail what kind of settings you specifically made.

I have now logged a bug for Zabbix 4.4.9 where the behaviour for recurring maintenance is different than the "One time only" in the sense that the recurring ones don't use the correct timezone: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-18246

Maybe this timezone issue could have been the case here too?
