Calculate processed traffic for an interfaces

Hi,

does somebody has an idea how to calculate the processed traffic for an interfaces?

I want to get the result e.g.: Interface eth0 processed 1,5TB for month july.

If you are storing in the metrics speed (bytes/s) your "processed data monthly" it will be integral of the speed over time in time range of the month.
You can use for that item trends data and by calculate of all trends points trends_avg*3600 and do sum all those points in range of last month.

Straright using zabbix it is not possible to do.
You can use zabbix API trend.get https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ence/trend/get

Hiho, okay I just made a query and I get this values.

"value_avg": "0.2421",
"value_max": "9.5521",
"value_min": "0.0000",
"clock": "1531306800"

This value is not bps ! How can I convert that number?

All SNMP OIDs about interfaces in/out traffic and net.if.{in,out} agent keys are sampling in/out traffic in bytes.
Each byte it is 8 bits .. just multiply this value by 8 and you will have bits/s.
