    Problem with languages

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with languages.. Indeed, even if I change the language on the profile (French, spanish, whatever..) nothing happens. The language still in English. But, I'm french ^^

Do you have an issue ?

Other question, hour is not correct. How I can change it ? (I have already change the timezone)

    Thank you,
    Thomas

Time: Could you explain more precisely where you have "incorrect hour"?

Also check the php settings as it was described here
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

Yes, it looks like time zone issue.
Did you check my link how and where setup the proper time zone for Zabbix frontend?

        In my case (CentOS) :
        Code:
        [root@zabbix zabbix]# grep Toronto /etc/httpd/conf.d/*
        /etc/httpd/conf.d/zabbix.conf: php_value date.timezone America/Toronto
        Sincerely yours,
        Aleksey

Yes, but I run on Zabbix Appliance (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...nual/appliance)

I followed the code "Changing time zone" :
          "cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Paris /etc/localtime"

          Without effect.

            Check this article
            5. Zabbix appliance

            Code:
            2.3 Changes to Zabbix configuration

                - Server name for Zabbix frontend set to “Zabbix 2.2 Appliance”;
                - [B]Frontend timezone is set to Europe/Riga, Zabbix home (this can be modified in /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini);[/B]
In my testing appliance it looks like that:
            Code:
            # grep Toronto php.ini
            date.timezone = 'America/Toronto'
            Sincerely yours,
            Aleksey

I'm pretty sure that you already read it:
                3 User profile
and you have installed php gettext extension because:

                Code:
                [B][U]Language [/U][/B]
Select the interface language of your choice.
The php gettext extension is required for the translations to work.
and you have installed French locale on your server because:
                Code:
If some language is not available for selection in the user profile
it means that a locale for it is not installed on the web server.
See the link at the bottom of this page to find out how to install them.
                Sincerely yours,
                Aleksey

Yes, the french language has been installed on the server. But when I click on it(or spanish, german...) , the language still in english.

I tried to refresh the langagues, without success...

                    How I changed my language:
                    1) Select my username
                    2) Select different language
                    3) CLick SAVE
                    4) Switch to Monitoring - Dashboard. By the end of downloading MONITORING screen, I had new screen on Different language.

How are you did that switching to different language?
                    Sincerely yours,
                    Aleksey
