No VMware datastore stats after VCenter Upgrade

Hi there guys,

I have recently upgraded our VCenter server from 5.5 to 6.0. After the upgrade, the auto discovered datastore stats ie latency, free space, total size, have become unsupported and when I hover over the red exclamation mark it says "Performance Counter Data is not available". Has anyone experienced this issue before and know how to resolve ? Running Zabbix appliance 3.4.11

Quoting Zabbix developer that implemented VMware monitoring:

<wiper> might be vcenter configuration
<wiper> in newer version they are using more conservative defaults of what is being monitored
<wiper> vcenter might be configured to not gather statistics for datastores
