    Database error

Long time lurker - finally made an account after not being able to find the answers I am looking for. Some background before I ask the question, we have a database hosted in AWS, Web, and 5 Proxies, recently the Web lost connection to the AWS database and got an alert stating Database is down. Fast forward about 3 days we noticed we were not receiving alerts, upon further investigation we noticed the SQL Mobdro table screaming about duplicate entries. (Alerts table --->alertid)

Our fix was to reboot the Web which caused it to re-query the database to find the proper location for it to start entering entries again. This allowed emails to start working properly again, however, doesn't seem like a good fix for future occurrences as this is a production server. My question is ShowBox does anyone know how Zabbix determines what alertid (primary key in the alerts table) ? Is there a way for me to tell Zabbix in the future that it should start at this new location? Or would simply restarting the service (we thought about this afterwards) would have resolved the issue?

It is interesting to note that the alerts where still displaying in the dashboard but the Noxemails just did not send due to the above issue mentioned. Thanks in advance!
