Problem with templates

Hello,

I am quite new to zabbix monitoring system. I have a few problems:


1) I can't choose and add aTemplate from the list when I am adding a new monitored host. It only shows "Host updated".


2)Second thing is that the console does not show that is sees other agents. But when i run zabbix_get -k system.uname -s 192.168.11.111 through the terminal it self seems to recognize the agent (Linux Agent 3.10.0-123.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jun 30 12:09:22 UTC 2014 x86_64)

Make sure that you're following these steps:
1) Choose template;
2) Click button "Add" under textbox with template name (IMPORTANT)
3) Click Update

Sorry, I have done this step numerous times. Maybe something may be wrong with server configuration. I have installed zabbix by following this tutorial.

Does it show you "Host updated" in green rectangle when you click Update?

On your screenshot you have empty "Templates" column. It means after selecting the template you forgot to click "Add" and "Update".

Correct! You are totally right. When i select a template and press add or update the console Host updated.
