ICMP ping failing since upgrading to RHEL 6.5 (from 6.4)

    Greetings,

We upgrading our version of RHEL from 6.4 to 6.5 this weekend. Since then, the Zabbix frontend is reporting some hosts monitored using the ICMP Ping Template as being down but the hosts are available. Using the ping or fping command directly on the server works fine. Also, using the "ping" option on the frontend returns nothing (blank page).

I've determined that the issue is related to SELinux since putting it in Permissive mode resolves the issue but disabling SELinux isn't really an option for me. I tried to update the SELinux policies by using the audit2allow commands but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.

For the record, I'm using Zabbix Server 2.2.1 on RHEL with a local MySQL database.

Any hint or idea to guide me would be great as I can't find anything...

    Thanks!

      Thanks...

Unfortunately, this was already done. My audit log does not indicate anything wrong with the FPING command since I fixed it on my original install.
