Zabbix 2.0, Postgres 8.3, Housekeeping and vaccum

I'm trying to find the latest on the housekeeping process in zabbix on a postgress DB.

I've seen disable the housekeeping process because postgres vacuum does the same thing.

I've seen mysql doesn't have this problem.

    I've seen set HousekeepingFrequency=24.

Does anyone have any solid thoughts on how I can stop my

    Zabbix Housekeeping process hitting 100%?

    Thanks

Postgres' vacuum probably can't do zabbix' housekeeping since the houskeeper is moving/deleting old entries from the history_* tables into trends and deleting old trend records. It is application logic of which postgres does not know anything about.
